  John Heim Special Needs Party
The Kiwanis Club of Emmaus has been serving the people of the area for a long time. One of the functions our club undertakes to make our community a better place in which to live is an annual Christmas party for people with special needs. Each person and their families are personally invited to gather in the Social Hall at St. John’s UCC Church in Emmaus on the first or second Wednesday in December. The party includes refreshments, caroling, professional entertainment suitable for the audience and a visit with Santa Claus. Each invited guest is personally called up to Santa and receives a wrapped gift from him. This is a festive evening for all who attend.

The Special Needs Christmas Party is held for the enjoyment of the participants and also in honor of deceased member John Heim.

It is always a great occasion enjoyed by our young at heart guests and members.  Santa always finds time to visit with Kiwanians on this wonderful day and, as is evident, our special needs guests were delighted.
