In 2006 the Emmaus Kiwanis began to hold a Cookie and Hot Chocolate display for the Annual Old Fashioned Christmas Tree Lighting on Center Square the first Saturday in December.  The cookies and hot chocolate are given out for free and as a thank you to the Emmaus Community.  Oue members staff the tent area and give out our goodies until all are gone for a full three hours of the event.  We have served as many as 500 - 600 over the course of the event and we see it as excellent public relations at a time when our people are beginning to get into the holiday Season.
